Da Nang Named One of the World’s Top 10 Trending Destinations for 2027
According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the coastal city of Da Nang has been ranked 7th among the world’s 10 Trending Destinations for 2027 by Skyscanner, an international travel search platform. Da Nang is the only destination from Vietnam and Southeast Asia to make the list.
According to Skyscanner’s Travel Trends 2027 report, flight searches for Da Nang increased by 68% compared to the same period last year. The ranking is based on year-on-year growth in round-trip flight searches made on Skyscanner’s UK platform between January 1 and June 17, 2026.
Da Nang ranks behind destinations including Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Hurghada (Egypt), Malmö (Sweden), Trapani (Italy), Samos (Greece), and Chongqing (China). These destinations have all recorded significant growth in travel searches, reflecting increasing interest among travelers in discovering new and less-explored places around the world.
Skyscanner highlights Da Nang’s diverse travel experiences, ranging from relaxing on My Khe Beach and visiting the iconic Golden Bridge to discovering local culture, cuisine, and everyday life.
Notably, the Golden Bridge at Sun World Ba Na Hills was selected as the featured image representing Da Nang in the report.
Beyond its beautiful coastline, Da Nang offers a wealth of natural and cultural attractions. Visitors can explore the scenic Son Tra Peninsula and the Marble Mountains, while also enjoying convenient access to the nearby heritage destinations of Hoi An and My Son.
