Visiting Vietnam in the early 1990s, when the country opened its doors, German photographer Hans-Peter Grumpe had the opportunity to admire the pristine beauty of much of the region.
Hans-Peter Grumpe has been in Vietnam for a total of 83 days, spanning three years in 1991, 1992, and 1993. In the intervening three years, he traveled extensively to Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.
The achievements of the German photographer after the trip are 1,600 special images, recording the landscapes and life of Vietnamese people in more than 20 provinces, spread across 3 regions of the country.
