TOUR DESTINATIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
– Hanoi: (30 minutes drive from Noi Bai Airport) – Hanoi Old Quarter, Dong Xuan Market, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Saint Joseph Cathedral, Train Street.
– Bac Ha Market: is about 110 km away from Sapa, 70km from Lao Cai Train Station. The name Bac Ha came from the local language of Tay people, “Pac ha” means “hundred bundles grass”. (Bac Ha Market is on Sunday only – Can Cau Market is on Saturday only)
– Sapa: (8 hours by train, 6 hours drive from Hanoi to the North) a French Hill Station, doing a trek to remote villages, discover and delighted with local ethnic minorities. Well-known for rice paddies which attract tourist from very first step to this land.
– Halong Bay: (3 hours drive from Hanoi to the East) – The famous natural wonder of the world. Spectacular scenery with thousands of islands dotting the blue water. Spend the night on the cruise would great experience of a lifetime.

DAY 1: HANOI AIRPORT PICK UP – HANOI STREET FOOD TOUR – NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA
Welcome to Hanoi – you will be picked up at Noi Bai Airport on your arrival for 45 minutes drive to your hotel at Hanoi city center.

Followed by guided Hanoi Street food tour:
Start the Food tour at one of the inner city’s finest local “Pho”, Vietnam’s national dish. Large choices of “Pho Bo” (beef noodle soup) and “Pho Ga” (chicken noodle soup).
Walking through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we tempt our taste buds with the famed Hanoi dish Banh Cuon (Rolled rice pancake) at a local eatery. Watch in awe as the skilled chefs demonstrate for you how this tasty dish is put together.
Can’t be missed with Bun Cha – It is basically a cold noodle soup with pork. You’ll be served by a plate of rice noodles, fresh herbs, and a bowl of cold broth with grilled pork. The rice noodles and fresh herbs are pretty common in a Vietnamese restaurant. The broth and the pork are the ones make this dish unique.
Our next stops are at outdoor barbeque stalls. We sit down with the Hanoi locals and sample various meat, vegetable and bread specialties that are flame grilled over hot coals for extra flavour.
It’s then time for dessert as we venture down a small alley to join in the local tradition of feasting on fresh fruit served in a cup and smothered with crushed iced and condensed milk – Hoa Qua Dam.
The tour will ending up with traditional Vietnamese coffee – (Ca Phe Nau Da) or Egg Coffee (Ca Phe Trung). Or, if coffee is not your style, a cold beer awaits!

DAY 2: LAO CAI – BAC HA MARKET – SAPA – NIGHT AT SAPA
06:00 – get pick up at Lao Cai by your guide and driver.

Just after breakfast, we depart for 1,5-hour drives to Bac Ha market – Every Sunday, the different and colorful ethnic minority come all here to sell their homemade products or buy something for the family. They are Hmong, Phu La, Back Dzao, Tay or Nung minorities. Some of these ethnic minorities can’t be met in any other areas. Free time for visiting one of the most colourful market in the world.
At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches… talking to the minorities through the guide’s interpretation.
Take short drive to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).
In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho Village, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha.

After lunch, we say goodbye Bac Ha then hit the road for Sapa, on the way we will do 3km walk to visit Trung Do Village of Tay people, from Trung Do you will take a short boat tour down stream of Chay River to Bao Nhai where driver pick up then keep driving to Sapa.

DAY 3: CAT CAT VILLAGE – FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN – NIGHT AT SAPA

08:30 – get picked up at hotel for short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village which is home to Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.
Visit the village for its distinctive traditions and practices that have been lost in virtually cultural villages. It’s the closest and easiest hill tribe village in Sapa. The footpath to the village is amazing view. Just passing some sloop you will have chance to discover full this stunning village.
(3 km hilly walking is required at Cat Cat village)
Drive back to Sapa for lunch at a local restaurant
After lunch, we take a short drive to Hoang Lien Cable Car Station at 1,650m above sea level – where you will start the journey to conquer Fansipan Peak – The Roof of Indochina – at 3,143m above sea level.
After 20 minutes, the cable car will bring you to Fansipan Station, from here you will need to climb 600 steps up to the peak or buy extra ticket for pull-train at spot (15,000 VND / pax / way).
Thanks to the Sun world Fansipan Legend Cable Car system, it only takes 20-30 minutes to get the roof of Indochina instead of trekking from 2-3 days like before, making Fansipan reachable by everyone yet saving time to explore interesting things around.

DAY 4: SAPA – MUONG HOA VALLEY – BUS BACK TO HANOI – NIGHT AT HANOI

08.30 am – car and guide pick up at hotel for short drive along the side of Muong Hoa Valley which is home to hill tribe villages such as Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai village of Hmong peole, Ta Van of Dzay people, the villages surrounded by stunning rice terraces.
You will take a short walking down to Lao Chai village from main road, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Visit local families which offer you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way.

Drive back to Sapa for lunch
