In addition, this is also known as “The Land of Two Kings” – the birthplace of King Phung Hung and King Ngo Quyen, it is also associated with many historical and cultural relics.

8.00: Guide and car pick up at hotel.

9.00 Arrive Ba Vi National Park. Ba Vi National Park, 48 km west of Hanoi, covers an area of 7,377 ha on a range of high mountains. The park is famous for its rich and diverse flora and fauna comprising tropical and subtropical species.

Climbing up to the top of the mountains, you will find a temple dedicated to the Tan Vien God and Ho Chi Minh President which offers an enthralling bird’s-eye view of the surroundings. The primeval rain forest of Ba Vi National Park boasts a wide range of flora and fauna. This is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and is easily accessible.

Leave Ba Vi National Park, we will take about one-hour drive to Duong Lam Ancient Village.

On arrival we will have lunch in a local family house which is one of the most ancient houses in the village, date back to 300 years ago. All the ancient houses are now protected by Vietnam Government with support from JICA a Japanese Government Organization.

After lunch, take short walk to Mong Phu Communal house, the communal house is a worshipping place of the god – founder of the village, meeting for villagers and annual village festival.

Continue with leisurely bike ride (car is available if you can’t bike) to Mia Pagoda which was built in 15th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes. Keep riding further to Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung temples, each built over a thousand years ago to honor two national heroes who were born here and helped to claim Vietnamese independence against the Chinese. Ride around village to chat with locals to learn more about their local lifestyle as well as gain an insight into Vietnamese countryside

Ride back to the village center where the driver is waiting for transferring back to your hotel.
