After having simple but healthy breakfast prepared by local family we will depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Pu Luong is a nature reserve belonging to Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province, 5 hour drive from Hanoi. It is blessed with rich forest, limestone panoramas, magnificent rice terraces and breathtaking scenery. Experience the everyday life and culture of Thai and Muong people and stay in scenic villages and in traditional homestay accommodation.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve offers opportunities for easy to moderate trekking, ranging from one to several days visits. Visit the bat cave at Kho Muong, raft on Ma river, journey to pleasant Thai villages or camp on the Pu luong mountain for stunning panorama.
Trekking through beautiful hill side villages, magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand crafted bamboo water wheels. The highlight on this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu luong Nature Reserve, the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. After breakfast, we will take 4 hours drive via the legendary Ho Chi Minh road Cuc Phuong National Park which was the first national park of Vietnam, established in 1962 by Ho Chi Minh President in raising awareness of importance and protection of nature.
Consisting of more than 200 square kilometres of tropical forest and many grottoes, the reserve is rich in wildlife and natural beauty and also possesses historical significance, as prehistoric tools and ancient tombs have been discovered in some of the cave.
Arrive Cuc Phuong at noon for check-in hotel then have lunch. After lunch we take 30 minutes drive to the center of National Park from here you will start 3 hours trekking through the core zone of National Park. But before that you can make a stop to Walk up to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, get great views of the ancient trees and giant palms, butterflies and lots of orchids. Once you get to the end of the paved trail, you need to climb steep steps to reach the entrance.

After breakfast at the hotel we depart to Van Long Nature Reserve for a 2 hours boat trip. The reserve is located in the northeast of Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. Covering an area of nearly 3,000 ha, Van Long is the largest wetland nature reserve in the North of Vietnam, Van Long has an ecosystem extremely rich and unique. It is the habitat of many flora and fauna, is home to many species of fish, bird, and animal, including langur which can be seen occasionally early morning or late afternoon.
After Van Long we drive for Hoa Lu Ancient Capital to visit the temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang the founder of the Dinh Dynasty (968 – 980) and the temple of King Le Dai Hanh the founder of the Le Dynasty (980 – 1005). Most of the constructions are in ruin by time and wars, recent excavations have found many traces of the old capital.
We have lunch at a local restaurant, lunch today is served with local foods in which goat meat is the most popular in all restaurants in town. After lunch board your private sampan in Tam Coc. As the boat gently slices through the water, notice the enormous limestone karsts jutting out from the green rice fields giving rise to another name, ‘Halong on Land’.
Should you feel adventurous climb up to Bich Dong Pagoda on nearby Ngu Nhac Mountain, dating to 1428 and comprising three structures: Ha, Trung, and Thuong Pagodas, in ascending order.

Spending the night on the traditional junks with the luxury cabin you will experience the five-star hotel on the water. The two days one night trip is popularly chosen by tourists. However, if you wish to spend 2 nights or 3 nights on the junk there are many activities you can take such as squid fishing, kayaking, rock climbing or simply relaxing on beautiful white sand beaches.
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will pick you up around 8.00 am and transfer to Ha Long Bay, this four hours drive will take you through the Red River Delta, with a lot countryside on the way so you can see and smell rural life in Vietnam.
Plenty of chance to take photos of Vietnamese farmers, working with water buffalo and cows on the vast green paddy field. At half way, we will have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes and embroidered paintings.
Upon arrival, welcome on board, check in your cabin and have delicious lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon activities might include a visit to one of the most beautiful caves in Halong bay, a floating village for bamboo boat riding, an island for relaxing/swimming and a lagoon for kayaking.
Back to the boat, you will be able to join a cooking class or a sunset cocktail party before dinner time. The evening is free at your leisure or you can join a squid fishing trip with the crew.

Halong Bay is a famous tourist destination of Vietnam, located in the West Bank of the North Sea in the North East Coast of Vietnam. With thousands of magnificent islands, miraculous formations of natural creation, Ha Long Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as the natural heritage of the world.
Early sunlight will enrich the beautiful landscape of the Bay, if you can wake up early enough you can attend a Tai Chi exercise. Having breakfast while you are cruising on the bay is really a great experience.
Sitting on the upper deck we can enjoy the breath – taking the beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the Bay.
We can hear the voice of the birds, of the wind and of the water is lapping on our boat. You can get on natural beach for swimming or visit local fishing villages or visit one of the biggest caves in the Bay.
