Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, passing through the beautiful countryside of northern Vietnam. A 15-minute comfort stop near Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh is included along the way.
10:30 AM – Explore Pu Luong’s Giant Water Wheels and Traditional Villages
Upon arrival in Pu Luong, meet your local guide and begin exploring one of the area’s most beautiful rural landscapes.
Cross a traditional suspension bridge to reach a picturesque village nestled beside a flowing stream. Admire the surrounding rice fields, lush mountains and peaceful village scenery.
One of the highlights of this experience is the giant bamboo water wheels, an ingenious traditional irrigation system developed by ethnic communities in Vietnam’s mountainous regions.
Continue across the dam at Chieng Lau before embarking on a leisurely 1.5 km walk through rice fields and traditional villages, following a scenic loop trail.
Along the way, discover the local way of life and learn about native plants, herbs and traditional ingredients used in everyday cooking.
